Add some friction

Get past the knee-jerk reaction of shouting "socialistic crap."  Open up and face into the wind.  Take it all 22+ minutes in.  And then ask yourself, are there lies here?  Am I afraid of the truths?  Why am I afraid?  And what can I do to add some friction?

If you would rather not see visual images, that may rouse prejudice, then read the transcript only.

Let your life be friction

A key point I feel that keeps the machine going was this twist in ethics after the Cold War, and the continued false belief that Capitalism will always right itself:

"Now, instead of simply intervening in situations where despotism or tyranny required America to forcefully implant our just and ethical democracy, America had to become the shield and bulwark of the sacred capitalist system in which “free enterprise” was magically and increasingly identified with democracy and equally to be defended."
